Environmental Solutions and Technology S.r.l. — Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is Environmental Solutions and Technology S.r.l., with registered office at Via Marconi 5, 44034 Copparo (FE), Italy, VAT No. 02169420383, email: info@est-int.com.

2. Types of Data Collected

Through the website www.est-int.com, the following data may be collected:

  • Navigation data (e.g., IP addresses, access logs, technical data on device and browser).
  • Data voluntarily provided by the user (e.g., name, surname, email, company, messages sent via contact forms).
  • Cookies and tracking tools: see Cookie Policy.

3. Purposes and Legal Basis

Data is processed for:

  • Management of contact requests (legal basis: pre-contractual measures, Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Compliance with legal and tax obligations (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • Website management and improvement of user experience (Art. 6.1.f GDPR – legitimate interest).
  • Direct marketing (only with explicit consent – Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

4. International Data Transfers

Some personal data may be transferred to, or processed by, service providers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA) — in particular providers of hosting infrastructure and CDN services (e.g. Cloudflare, Inc., USA). Such transfers take place exclusively on the basis of appropriate safeguards as provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, or other equivalent mechanisms). You may request further information on the safeguards applied by writing to info@est-int.com.

5. Data Recipients

Data may be communicated to:

  • IT service providers and hosting (Cloudflare, etc.), acting as data processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
  • Technical or legal consultants, within the limits of the purposes indicated above.
  • Public authorities if required by law.

6. Data Protection Officer (DPO)

Given the nature and scale of the data processing activities carried out, EST S.r.l. has assessed that the appointment of a Data Protection Officer is not mandatory pursuant to Art. 37 GDPR. For any privacy-related enquiry, you may contact the Data Controller directly at info@est-int.com.

7. Data Retention

Contact data: retained for the time necessary to process the request, and in any case no longer than 24 months unless required by law. Navigation data: generally 12 months. Marketing data: until consent is withdrawn.

8. Rights of the Data Subject

Pursuant to Articles 15–21 GDPR, you have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it ("right to be forgotten"), restrict processing, object to processing, and request data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) — www.garanteprivacy.it — if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.

To exercise your rights, write to info@est-int.com.

9. Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any material changes will be brought to your attention on this page. Last revision: 09/04/2026.
